Street Scenes


David gets a call about a plumbing disaster at his mom's place. He needs someone to watch Hooper's Store. Susan and Luis are busy with their own tasks. Big Bird's not available to help either. Cookie Monster offers to watch the shop. David's feeling a bit skeptical, especially with the monster's appetite. Cookie Monster performs a monster's honor ritual. He promises not to touch the cookies. David trusts him and leaves the store.

Cookie Monster is the only one in the shop. The cookies' scent tests his resolve. He shows the audience how the cash register works. He finds a way to back out of his promise. He eats the cash register instead of the cookies.
